ScreenshotEdits

Screenshots that actually look good

This page is the product layer. The articles below are the context layer: why I built it, what I learned, and how the product fits into the broader system on nielskaspers.com.

About the project

Every developer, designer, and content creator takes screenshots. But raw screenshots look terrible—gray backgrounds, harsh edges, no visual appeal. You end up pasting ugly images into docs, tweets, and presentations.

ScreenshotEdits fixes this in seconds. Paste any screenshot, pick a gradient background, adjust shadows and corners, and copy the result. That's it. No Figma, no Photoshop, no fiddling with export settings.

Built as a native SwiftUI app, it's fast, lightweight, and works entirely offline. The free version does everything you need. Pay €19 once to remove the small watermark and support development.
